Breakaway Web was founded on a simple idea — help small businesses succeed online without the confusion, contracts, or inflated costs that have become so common in the web industry. We believe in honesty, transparency, and hard work. Every website we build and every SEO strategy we manage is done completely in-house, so you always know exactly who you’re working with. We don’t outsource, overpromise, or hide behind fine print — because we know trust is earned through results, not sales pitches.
We’ve built over 2,600 webpages for local businesses, each designed with purpose and backed by our commitment to customer service. Our affordable pricing isn’t a gimmick — it’s possible because we leverage modern software and efficient systems to save time without sacrificing quality. At the end of the day, we’re just real people getting real results for real businesses. Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to grow your online presence, Breakaway Web gives you everything you need to stand out, stay competitive, and thrive — all in one easy-to-manage package.
OUR TEAM

Graham Aldredge
Owner
I started Breakaway Web to help small businesses get ahead without breaking the bank. I worked for a large agency and couldn't stomach ripping people off. The web development and digital marketing industry is complicated enough that companies can get away with charging whatever they want and explain the cost through technical jargon. I also wanted to create a company that you can easily contact if you need help.
What makes you good at your job?
I didn't realize this when I began in this industry, but my diverse knowledge base has really helped me connect with clients and create a good product. I grew up on a farm in Kansas so I know a little about a lot of things. I know how to ride a horse, fix a car, paint a house, nail a board, drive a tractor and a lot more. I have also had a wide range of jobs from being a counselor in a psychiatric hospital to a baseball umpire; I've done a lot of different things. If you're an auto repair shop that specializes in alignments I know exactly what that is and what machines and tools are required to do alignments. Believe it or not I also have my massage therapy license so if you run a spa, you don't need to worry about me understanding your services.
What/where was your education?
I went to NAU in Flagstaff and got my degree in psychology. I think my background in psychology really helps me build great sites. I like studying consumer behavior and making sites that make it easy for customers to give you their business.
When you're not building websites, what are you doing?
I run about 50-70 miles a week on trails and also enjoy riding dirt bikes. I have been riding and racing dirt bikes for about 25 years and it seems to be something I'll always enjoy doing. I have a bad habit of eating junk food so the running definitely helps me stay in shape.

Maddy Ward
Copywriter and Account Manager
I first joined Breakaway Web as part-time editor to help Graham polish and refine the hundreds of pages of copy he writes for his websites. I have an uncanny ability to pick out typos; finally my perfectionism and attention to detail is paying off.
My role has since evolved into interacting directly with clients. Through my work as editor I got to see how much Graham was helping small business owners and I wanted to get more involved. Now I’ve stepped into an Account Manager role where I’ve been enjoying my conversations and meetings with business owners who I know could benefit from our services.
I get energized by the idea of making a difference in people’s day-to-day lives. Sure, in the grand scheme of things a good website isn’t life-changing, but it’s the small things that count, and I enjoy the process of learning about the people behind the business. The beauty of Breakaway Web is that we really care about what goes up on our clients’ websites, and I take my job seriously in making sure we give our clients an online presence they can be proud of.
When I’m not out meeting with clients, I can be found on mountain bike trails working on my handling skills. Originally a professional road cyclist, I have some work to do on my off-road capabilities, but it’s a fun work in progress. My dream is to get back to competing at the elite level and I’m thankful that my position within Breakaway Web comes with the flexibility to keep that dream alive. See you out on the trails!

Renny
Project Manager and Zoom Interrupter
I like Breakaway Web because I get to play fetch a lot. Dad can only stare at the computer so long before he has to pay attention to me. I don't understand when he talks to people through the computer so I go bark at the door.
My big brother is actually a little brother. Even though he's twice my size, I'm 4 times as old as him and it shows in my vast wisdom regarding treat procurement, hole digging, rabbit chasing and other dogisms.

Norman
Customer Service Manager and Senior Zoom Interrupter
I love people. That's what makes me the ideal customer service manager. I'd rather get petted than eat dinner! I'm pretty big and kinda scary looking but I'm a sweetheart. I just kinda do whatever Renny does and it seems like it works out pretty well.
